Just watched the video about how to elect the American president… And I really really like it! 
I mean I somehow knew, how this procedure in the US works, but I always thought it is kind of complex… Of course, you should watch the video more than once, because although it’s in plain English, the explanation is quite fast… I especially like the equation “population equals more districts equals more influence”, because this chain of thought was never really obvious to me…
But did you notice after 50 seconds, there is this annotation which says “*except Nebraska and Maine”. I wondered why and tried to look it up, and I think here‘s at least some kind of explanation (but unfortunately not in plain English…). Although I have to admit, that I didn’t really get that point yet…
