I haven’t heard anything about the Bradley or the Wilder effect until we read Joe Trippi’s text in class. It’s an interesting phenomenom, but if people don’t want to say who they voted for, then they shouldn’t participate in the polling… When I just read the CNN article about this effect, I found it fascinating that there also exists the reverse Bradley effect, as you can read in this quote:
“(…) But there could be an opposite effect, Wilder said.
“There’s going to be a reverse Wilder or Bradley effect. … There are some Republicans who are not going to say out front that they’re going to be voting for Obama, but they’re going to be, because the economy is what’s driving people to consider what’s in their best interest,” he said. (…)”
